Felix Mildenberger
Felix Mildenberger (born 1990 in Wolfach) is a German conductor. He has been appointed Principal Guest Conductor of the Filarmonica Teatro Regio di Torino from 2022. Since 2014 he has been principal conductor and artistic director of the Sinfonieorchester Crescendo Freiburg, which he co-founded in 2014. Career Mildenberger grew up in Germany as the son of a primary-school teacher and a secondary-school teacher. His interest in conducting came up when he was about 17. Although he had been playing violin and piano from the age of 7, he did not get introduced to the bigger symphonic repertoire until he got to play in a French-German youth symphony orchestra himself. Wolfach
Wolfach ( gsw, label= Low Alemannic, Wolfä) is a town in the Black Forest and part of the Ortenaukreis in Baden-Württemberg (Germany). It is a well-known spa town. Emmanuel Krivine
Emmanuel Krivine (born 7 May 1947, Grenoble) is a French conductor. Biography The son of a Polish mother and a Russian father, Krivine studied the violin as a youth. He was a winner of the ''Premier Prix'' at the Paris Conservatoire, at age 16. He later studied at the Queen Elisabeth School in Brussels. He stopped playing the violin after a car accident in 1981. Inspired by a meeting with Karl Böhm, Krivine began to develop an interest in conducting. He was principal guest conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France from 1976 to 1983. From 1987 to 2000, he was music director of the Orchestre National de Lyon. He has also served as music director of the Orchestre Français des Jeunes for 11 years. Ensemble Modern is an international ensemble dedicated to performing and promoting the music of modern composers. Formed in 1980, the group is based in Frankfurt, Germany, and made up variously of about twenty members from numerous countries. The Folkwang Kammerorchester Essen is a chamber orchestra historically formed mostly by students of the Folkwang University in Essen, Germany, and other in North Rhine-Westphalia, to prepare them for a future position in an orchestra; however, it currently employs a core of permanent members from all over Germany and the world. Members are auditioned and trialed as in a professional orchestra, and, if successful, are offered a permanent contract up to the age of 35.
