Commander Eric Augustas Feldt (3 January 1899 – 12 March 1968) was an officer in the Royal Australian Navy and the director of the Coastwatchers organisation for much of the Second World War. Early life Feldt was born in Ingham, North Queensland, on 3 January 1899, the eighth child of Swedish immigrants, Peter Nilsson Feldt, a cane farmer, and Augusta Blixt. Feldt attended the local school before winning a scholarship to Brisbane Grammar School where he boarded for a year. He then won selection for the first intake of cadets into the Royal Naval College in 1913, being the only cadet from Queensland. He graduated as a midshipman in 1917 and sailed to England in April 1917 where he initially served on HMS Canada. He was promoted to lieutenant in February in 1920. Kjell-Olof Feldt (born 18 August 1931) is a Swedish Social Democratic politician who was minister of finance between 1983 and 1990. Previously, Feldt was assistant minister of finance from 1975 to 1976 and minister of commerce and industry from 1970 to 1975. The Social Democrats lost power in the 1976 elections, but, after having won the elections of 1982, Feldt was appointed minister of finance by Prime Minister Olof Palme. He was seen as a part of Kanslihushögern during his time in office. Maarit Kristiina Feldt-Ranta (26 April 1968 – 27 November 2019) was a Finnish politician, who represented the Social Democratic Party of Finland. She had represented the electoral district of Uusimaa in the Parliament of Finland since 2007. In 2017, she was elected as the vice-chair of the party. Reine Feldt (1945–1986) was a Swedish footballer and journalist that played football for Utsiktens BK and IFK Göteborg. Career Felt started his senior career in Utsiktens BK and joined IFK Göteborg in 1965. Working for the Kirov Theater he conducted several ballet premieres including Shostakovich's ''The Limpid Stream'' and Khachaturian's '' Gayane''.
