Amanda Dawn Felder (born 16 January 1982 in Houston) is a professional US triathlete and Member of the USA Triathlon Project 2016 program. Felder started her triathlon career in 2005 when she took part in, and won, the ''USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championship'' for the first time, as later on in 2008. Felder also takes part in Ironmen, e.g. she placed 7th at the ''Ironman 70.3 Miami'' on 30 October 2010. Marcel Felder (; ; born 9 July 1984) is a Uruguayan professional tennis player. His highest ranking in singles was No. 227 on 28 December 2009. His highest ranking in doubles was 82 on 11 June 2012. Felder won a gold medal in singles in men's tennis at the 2013 Maccabiah Games in Israel. Tennis career The right-hander achieved career high rankings of World No. 227 in singles in 2009, and No. 82 in doubles in 2012. Wilton Lewis Felder (August 31, 1940 – September 27, 2015) was an American saxophone and bass player, and is best known as a founding member of the Jazz Crusaders, later known as The Crusaders. Felder played bass on the Jackson 5's hits "I Want You Back" and "ABC" and on Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On". Biography Felder was born on August 31, 1940, in Houston, Texas and studied music at Texas Southern University. Felder, Wayne Henderson, Joe Sample, and Stix Hooper founded their group while in high school in Houston. Simcha Felder (born December 30, 1958) is an American politician from Borough Park, Brooklyn. He represents the 17th district of the New York State Senate. Felder has been elected to multiple offices as a Democrat, but is known for having caucused with the Republicans during the early part of his New York State Senate tenure. Prior to serving in the State Senate, Felder represented the 44th district in the New York City Council. Richard M. Felder (born 1939 in New York City) is the Hoechst Celanese Professor Emeritus of Chemical Engineering at North Carolina State University. Education and career history Felder received a BChE degree from the City College of New York in 1962 and a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Princeton University in 1966 after completing a doctoral dissertation titled "Energy distributions of energetic atoms in irradiated media." He spent a year as a NATO Postdoctoral Fellow at the Atomic Energy Research Establishment (Harwell, England) and then two years as a research engineer at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Andreas Felder (born 6 March 1962) is an Austrian former ski jumper. During this period he dominated the sport, together with contemporaries Jens Weißflog and Matti Nykänen. He finished in the top three overall six times in the World Cup and won the 1990/91 overall. He won his first international championship medal at the 1982 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo with a silver medal in the team large hill event. Biography His grandfather was a native of Switzerland, came to South Carolina about 1720, and was killed during the American Revolution while defending his house against an attack by Tories. The grandson was born in the vicinity of Orangeburg, South Carolina. He graduated from Yale University in 1804, a roommate and close friend of John Caldwell Calhoun.
