Eric Fehr
Eric Fehr (born September 7, 1985) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who is currently an unrestricted free agent. He most recently played under contract with Ak Bars Kazan in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). He was drafted in the first round, 18th overall, by the Washington Capitals in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. In addition to two separate stints with Washington, Fehr has also played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Winnipeg Jets, Pittsburgh Penguins (with whom he won the Stanley Cup in 2016), Toronto Maple Leafs, San Jose Sharks and the Minnesota Wild. Rudolf "Rudi" Fehr, A.C.E. (July 6, 1911 – April 16, 1999) was a German-born, American film editor and studio executive. He had more than thirty credits as an editor of feature films including ''Key Largo'' (1946), ''Dial M for Murder'' (1954), and ''Prizzi's Honor'' (1985). He worked for more than forty years for the Warner Brothers film studio, where he was the Head of Post-production from 1955 through 1976. Fehr was instrumental in establishing the 1967 "sister city" connection between Los Angeles and Berlin, which he had fled in the 1930s. Life and career Fehr was born in Berlin, Germany. Donald Martin Fehr (born July 18, 1948) is the fifth executive director of the NHL Players Association, since 2010. He became nationally prominent while serving as the executive director of the MLB Players Association from 1983 to 2009. Life and career Fehr's parents are Irene Sylvia (''née'' Gulko) and Louis Alvin Fehr, of German-Jewish descent. He was raised in Prairie Village, Kansas. Henry Charles Fehr Royal British Society of Sculptors, FRBS (4 November 1867 – 13 May 1940) was a British monumental and architectural sculptor active in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. He produced several notable public sculptures, war memorials and works for civic buildings. These included architectural sculptures for Middlesex Guildhall, for Wakefield County Hall and for City Hall, Cardiff, Cardiff City Hall. Throughout the 1920s, Fehr created a number of war memorials, often featuring detailed bronze statuary, for British towns and cities. Ernst Fehr (born 21 June 1956 in Hard, Austria) is an Austrian-Swiss behavioral economist and neuroeconomist and a Professor of Microeconomics and Experimental Economic Research, as well as the vice chairman of the Department of Economics at the University of Zürich, Switzerland. Richard Elliott Fehr (born August 28, 1962) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Fehr was born in Seattle, Washington and grew up in the state of Washington. As a teenager, Fehr won the Washington State Junior and PGA National Junior tournaments in 1979. He attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and was a member of the golf team. He was a two-time All-American while at BYU and won numerous amateur tournaments, including the 1982 Western Amateur. He was the low amateur at both The Masters and the U.S. Open in 1984. Beat Fehr
Claude Beat Fehr (21 June 1943 – 18 June 1967) was a racing driver from Switzerland, born in Zurich. He started racing in 1963, and raced several marques, including Alfa Romeo, Cooper, and De Tomaso, before buying a Brabham from fellow driver Jürg Dubler. Fehr was killed in an Italian Formula Three race at Caserta, the XVIII Coppa d'Oro Pasquale Amato, the same race that claimed the lives of "Geki" Russo and "Tiger" Perdomi. Fehr collided with the similar Brabham of Andrea Saltari and although neither driver was hurt, Fehr's car was left blocking the track. The next driver, Franco Foresti, skidded on oil from the accident and crashed, prompting Fehr to get out of his car and run down the track to warn oncoming drivers. The next car along was the Matra of "Geki" Russo, who crashed into the wrecked cars lying on the track, before striking a concrete wall. Russo was thrown out of his car and died immediately. Charles Fehr Round Barn
The Charles Fehr Round Barn is a round barn in the U.S. state of Illinois near the Stephenson County village of Orangeville. The barn was built in 1912 by the team of Jeremiah Shaffer and the Haas Brothers about one half mile from the Illinois–Wisconsin state border. The building is the first round barn in the Stephenson County area, home to 31 round barns, with a hip roof. The building was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1984. History The Charles Fehr Round Barn was built in 1912 for Walter Knott. The building stands on a concrete foundation near the Stephenson County village of Orangeville, about one half mile from the Illinois–Wisconsin state border. Oskar Fehr
Oskar Fehr (9 October 1871 – 1 August 1959) was a German ophthalmologist. Among his medical specialties were swimming pool conjunctivitis, tumours of the eye, and retinal detachment. He was an internationally renowned eye surgeon. Life Fehr was born in Braunschweig to a Jewish family. He studied in Heidelberg, Berlin, and Kiel, receiving his doctorate at Heidelberg in 1897. From 1897 to 1906, he was assistant physician at the eye clinic of Julius Hirschberg (1843–1925) in Berlin. From 1907, he was head physician at the department of eye diseases at the Rudolf Virchow Hospital. He received the title of professor in 1919. Besides his work in the hospital, he had a large private practice in the western part of Berlin, close to the Tiergarten.
