Feel The Fire (Astroline)
"Feel the Fire" is a 1998 euro house single by Belgian project Astroline. The song was written and produced by Bart Smolders, Christophe Chantzis, David Vervoort (aka Dave McCullen) and Peter Luts. Vocals were done by Kathleen Goossens. Released in March 1998, "Feel the Fire" is probably the most famous song of the group. After a successful 12-inch release by the end of 1997 on the Belgian independent record company A&S Productions, the track was released on cd-single by Antler Subway. The single entered the top 10 of the Belgian Ultra Top, where it remained for two weeks at No. 9. It was the follow-up of "Take Good Care (Of Me)". Astroline
Astroline were a Belgian Eurodance project by DJ/producer Bart Smolders, Christophe Chantzis (Absolom, Ian Van Dahl) and Stefan Wuyts (DJ Jimmy Goldschmitz & Heliac), who were together from the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s. They are best known for their hit single "Feel The Fire". Vocals were done by Kathleen Goossens. Other producers involved were Gert Corvers and Peter Luts (Lasgo, Ian Van Dahl, Groove Watchers). On stage singer Kathleen Goossens was accompanied by Gert Covers on keyboard and two dancers (An Hoube and Katarina Vincente). Biography Their first release "Take Good Care (Of Me)" became a club hit in Belgium and a minor radio hit (#46). Originally the track was released as "Astroline feat. DJ Bart" on 12 inch. Dave McCullen
Dave McCullen (born David Vervoort; 28 December 1977 in Bonheiden, Belgium) is a Belgian record producer, DJ, and musician, who was a producer and composer for Ian van Dahl, and a founding member of the group Lasgo, along with producer Peter Luts and vocalist Evi Goffin. McCullen left Lasgo after the release of the 2006 album ''Some Things'', and was replaced by Jef Martens. Peter Luts confirmed on Belgian radio in 2008 that Evi Goffin was not returning to Lasgo, after choosing to become a full-time mother. However Goffin later stated that she did not want to leave Lasgo, but had several conflicts with her management. On April 21, 2009 Dave McCullen became Evi Goffin's boyfriend and had kids. Peter Luts (born 14 December 1971 in Heusden-Zolder) is a Belgian DJ, remixer and record producer. He is a member of the vocal trance act Lasgo and the producer behind the group AnnaGrace (formerly known as Ian Van Dahl). Luts, whose musical career began at age 12, has released various tracks under the aliases Astroline, Abnea, Heliac, Outrowz, Groovewatchers, and others, while working with Lasgo. He wrote and produced "Love Is the Message", which was the anthem of the 8th edition of the City Parade in 2005. In 2006, Luts released his first single, "What a Feeling", under his full name alongside his newest project Dominico. Absolom
Absolom was a Belgian dance project produced by Christophe Chantzis and DJ Jimmy Goldschmitz. The group was popular in Europe by the end of the 1990s. For remixer and main-producer Chantzis the project was his first major effort in the Belgian dance scene. Vocals were done by Pascale Feront who gained some attention by entering the final of The Soundmix Show. A live-act was put together, consisting of singer Pascal Feront, two professional female dancers (Cindy and Ellen) and Christophe Chantzis on keyboard. He also supplied the additional vocals on some singles.
