Fedor Kuzmin
Fyodor Sergeyevich Kuzmin (also ''Fedor Kuzmin'', russian: Фёдор Серге́евич Кузьмин; born 17 April 1983 in Rybinsk, Russian SFSR) is a Russian table tennis player. Kuzmin won a gold medal in the men's singles at the 2005 ITTF Pro Tour series in Velenje, Slovenia. He also captured a silver medal, along with his partner Oksana Fadeyeva, in the mixed doubles at the 2007 European Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, losing out to the defending Eastern European pair Aleksandar Karakašević (Serbia) and Rūta Paškauskienė (Lithuania). As of October 2014, Kuzmin is ranked no. 164 in the world by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). He is also right-handed, and uses the classic grip. Rybinsk ( rus, Рыбинск, p=ˈrɨbʲɪnsk), the second largest types of inhabited localities in Russia, city of Yaroslavl Oblast in Russia, lies at the confluence of the Volga River, Volga and Sheksna Rivers, 267 kilometers north-north-east of Moscow. Table Tennis At The 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's Team
The men's team table tennis event was part of the table tennis programme and took place between August 13 and 18, at the Peking University Gymnasium. Teams consisted of three members. The sixteen teams were divided into four groups of four teams each, playing a round-robin within their pool. The top team in each pool advanced to the semifinals, with the second-place team from each group going to the bronze medal playoffs. The two semifinal winners met in the gold medal match, while the two semifinal losers each played against one of the winners from the bronze medal playoffs, with the winners of those games meeting in the bronze medal match. Each match consisted of up to five games, with the first team to win three being declared the winner. The first two games in each match were singles, the third was doubles, and the final two were singles again. Each team member competed in two of the five games, according to a set rotation. Dmitry Vyacheslavovich Mazunov (russian: Дмитрий Вячеславович Мазунов; born 12 May 1971 in Nizhny Novgorod, Russian SFSR) is a Russian table tennis player. He won a bronze medal, along with his brother Andrey Mazunov, in the men's doubles at the 1991 World Table Tennis Championships in Chiba, Japan, representing the Soviet Union. As of January 2010, Mazunov is ranked no. 105 in the world by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). Mazunov is a member of TTF Liebherr Ochenhausen in Ochsenhausen, Germany, and is coached and trained by Mikhail Nosov. He is also right-handed, and uses the attacking grip. Alexey Smirnov (born October 9, 1977) is a male table tennis player from Russia. Since 2003 he won several medals in doubles events in the Table Tennis European Championships. He also won the gold medal at the Europe Top-12 in 2005 at Rennes. He is also a multiple Russian national champion – four times in Men Singles and five in Men Doubles. He was also part of the winning cadet European Youth Championship team in 1992, as well as being the winner of the men's singles, the men's doubles and the mixed doubles at the junior level at the 1995 European Youth Championships. He also won the junior men's doubles at the 1994 European Youth Championships. In May 2011 he qualified for the London 2012 Olympic Games via his world ranking for June 2011.
