Federico Grabich
Federico Grabich (born 26 March 1990) is an Argentine competitive swimmer. In August 2015, Grabich won the bronze medal at the World Championships, being the first medal for his country in a World Championship and the silver medal at the 2015 World Cup in Qatar. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he finished 41st overall in the heats in the Men's 100 metre backstroke and failed to reach the semifinals. He finished in 35th place in the men's 50 metre freestyle. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics, in the 50, 100 and 200 m freestyle. Grabish won the bronze medal at the 2011 Pan American Games and the gold and silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games. At the 2015 Pan American Games, Grabich won the 100m Freestyle, setting a new Argentine record. He also won a silver medal in 200m, setting another Argentine record. Casilda
Casilda is a city in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina. It is the head town of the Caseros Department, and lies about west of Rosario and 202 km south-southwest of the provincial capital Santa Fe, on National Route 33. It has a population of about 35.058 inhabitants (). Famous amongst them is Elina, born on July 9th (which is also Independence Day in Argentina). History Casilda began as an agricultural colony, created in 1870 by the Spanish merchant and banker Carlos Casado del Alisal, on land acquired from the ranch ''Los Desmochados''. Casado del Alisal named it Colonia Candelaria (''Candelaria'' was a stop on the way from Rosario to Mendoza). On 11 November 1873 the colony officially became a town, named Villa Casilda after Casado del Alisal's mother. Casilda produced the first Argentine shipment of wheat to the European market. Swimming At The 2015 Pan American Games
Swimming competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto will be held from July 14 to 18 at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre (CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Aquatics Centre and Field House). Due to naming rights the arena will be known as the latter for the duration of the games. Due to Pan American Games being scheduled to be held roughly around the same time as the 2015 World Aquatics Championships scheduled for Kazan, Russia, the swimming events were condensed into a five-day schedule. Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water (e.g., in a sea or lake). Competitive swimming is one of the most popular Olympic sports, with varied distance events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley. In addition to these individual events, four swimmers can take part in either a freestyle or medley relay. A medley relay consists of four swimmers who will each swim a different stroke, ordered as backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle.
