Federation Of Catholic Regional Colleges
The Federation of Catholic Regional Colleges (CRC) is a collaboration of five Roman Catholic, Catholic, coeducational secondary colleges, located in the north Western suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Each College within the Federation is partially autonomous with its own administrative structures. As a complex, the federation is governed by the Catholic Regional Colleges Board and its students are identified in the community by a single uniform and College crest. The name of each college is a combination of its campus location prefixed with 'Catholic Regional College'. The first of the colleges to open was the St Albans, Victoria, St Albans campus in 1978, followed closely by the opening of a second campus in Melton West two years later. In 1982, a senior college in Sydenham, Victoria, Sydenham was opened to cater for the senior secondary education of students from the Melton and St Albans campuses. Deer Park, Victoria
Deer Park is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Brimbank local government area. Deer Park recorded a population of 18,145 at the 2021 census. History The suburb was originally named Kororoit Creek, after the creek running through the suburb but was renamed after the Melbourne Hunt Club used the area to house their stock of game deer. The original Hunt Club building still stands on Ballarat Road, next to the Deer Park sports oval and is now a community centre. The Hunt Club was opened on Saturday, 11 July 1885. Kealba
Kealba is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, north-west of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Brimbank local government area. Kealba recorded a population of 3,226 the 2021 census. The name of the suburb is derived from the letters of two of its neighbouring suburbs, namely Keilor and St Albans. History The land was part of the Overnewton Estate owned by William Taylor, who had Overnewton Castle built on the Calder Highway. After the Government demanded the release of land by large landowners, two large farm allotments were sold to Farquhar Macrae and his wife Annie (née Ritchie).
