International Federation For Information Processing
The International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) is a global organisation for researchers and professionals working in the field of computing to conduct research, develop standards and promote information sharing. Established in 1960 under the auspices of UNESCO, IFIP is recognised by the United Nations and links some 50 national and international societies and academies of science with a total membership of over half a million professionals. IFIP is based in Laxenburg, Austria and is an international, non-governmental organisation that operates on a non-profit basis. José Manuel Nunes Salvador (José) Tribolet (born 20 December 1949) is a Portuguese engineer, and Professor of Information Systems at the Instituto Superior Técnico - University of Lisbon, Portugal, who became known for his work on speech coding in the late 1970s.Spanias, Andreas S. Biography Tribolet received his 5-Year "Engenheiro" Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1971 at the Instituto Superior Tecnico - University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal, and in the United States at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology his MA in electrical engineering in 1974, and his Ph.D. in computer science in 1977. In 1998 he spent a sabbatical year as a Visiting Sloan Fellow at the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Henderik Alex (Erik) Proper (born 22 May 1967) is a Dutch computer scientist, aFNRPEARL Laureate, and a senior research manager within the Computer Science (ITIS) department of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). He is also adjunct professor in data and knowledge engineering at the University of Luxembourg. He is known for work on conceptual modeling, enterprise architecture and enterprise engineering. The International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) is a professional association formed in October 2003 with the stated goal of supporting and promoting the discipline of business analysis.
