ScăriÈ™oara ( hu, AranyosfÅ‘, german: Skerischora) is a commune located in Alba County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of fourteen villages: BârleÈ™ti, BoteÈ™ti (''Botesbánya''), FaÈ›a-LăzeÈ™ti, FloreÈ™ti, LăzeÈ™ti (''Lezest''), Lespezea, MaÈ›ei, NegeÈ™ti, Preluca, Runc, ScăriÈ™oara, Sfoartea, ȘtiuleÈ›i, and TrânceÈ™ti. The commune is situated in the Èšara MoÈ›ilor ethnogeographical region of the Apuseni Mountains, at the foot of the Bihor Massif.
