Faulad
''Faulad'' is a 1963 Bollywood film written by Mulkraj Bhakri and Farooq Kaisser and directed by Mohammed Hussain, starring Dara Singh, Mumtaz, Minu Mumtaz, and Randhir. The film duration is 145 minutes. Plot An astrologer shares a prediction with his Maharaja (Kamal Mehra) that in 18 years his daughter will marry a lower caste man who will push him from the throne. The frightened ruler immediately orders that all newborn lower caste male children be killed. But one boy's mother places her infant son into a basket, and floats him down the river. A royal maid (Praveen Paul) finds the child and saves him and raises him within the royal court. Over the next 18 years the boy grows to become the adult Amar (Dara Singh). Dara Singh
Dara Singh Randhawa (born Deedar Singh Randhawa; 19 November 1928 – 12 July 2012) was an Indian professional wrestler, actor, director and politician. He started acting in 1952 and was the first sportsman to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha (upper house) of India. He worked as Hindi and Punjabi film producer, director and writer, and he acted in films and television. He is known for his undefeated worldwide streak in wrestling and later being a successful movie star. He got defeated by Brahmdev Misra of Gorakhpur in Calcutta's Dharmatala. Mumtaz Askari Madhvani (born 31 July 1947) is an Indian actress. Primarily known for her work in Hindi films, she is the recipient of a Filmfare Award and the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to Hindi cinema. Born into poverty in an urban slum in Mumbai, Mumtaz made her acting debut at age 11 with ''Nutan#Filmography, Sone Ki Chidiya'' (1958). Mohammed Hussain (director)
Sayed Mohammed Hussain (1 October 1911 – 28 February 1977) was an Indian field hockey player who competed in the 1936 Summer Olympics. He belonged to the Beary society, whose mother tongue was Beary Bashe. He was the captain for the hockey club Manavadar, which was then a British protectorate. He is said to have had a melodious voice. Muhammad Hussein worked for the Prince of Manavadar. and also represented India against South Africa in soccer in 1934. Randhir (actor)
Randhir was an Indian character actor in Hindi and Punjabi films who was active from the 1940s to the 1980s. He appeared in over 172 films. Originally, he played side heroes or the friend of the hero. On a few occasions, he even played the hero. One of his most famous hero's friend roles was in ''Dil Deke Dekho'' (1959). The 1960s was a period of transition. Due to his age and displacement from hero's friend roles by comedians, Randhir began to experiment with character roles. He had done such roles in the 1950s and 1940s as well. In the mid-1960s, he frequently played Maharajas in costume films. Randhir began adopting the moneylender 'lala' role around the end of the 1960s. Moolchand was a prolific character actor in Hindi and Panjabi cinema, who was active from 1950 to his death in the late 1980s. He appeared in over 250 films. These films spanned the parallel cinema of Guru Dutt to the wrestler films of Dara Singh. He is known for his big stomach. The first known appearance of Moolchand is in 1950. He was often featured in the films of the directors Guru Dutt and Raj Kapoor, working on 6 of the former and 8 of the latter. Other actors he was often seen with were Dev Anand, B. R.
