Sindhi ( ; , ) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by about 30 million people in the Pakistani province of Sindh, where it has official status. ''Fauji'' (translation: "Soldier") is an Indian Hindi-language television series following the training of an Indian Army commando regiment; It was Shah Rukh Khan's debut in television. It aired on DD National in 1989, produced by New Film Addicts. It was directed by Raj Kumar Kapoor.
