Fatum (2023 Film)
''Fatum'' is a 2023 Spanish-French thriller film directed by Juan Galiñanes from a screenplay by Alberto Marini and Galiñanes which stars Álex García, Luis Tosar, Arón Piper, Luisa Mayol, and Elena Anaya. Plot Ludomaniac Sergio attends a gambling house to recover his lost money upon learning about a rumour concerning a purported fixed football fixture result which turns out to be true, but armed Alejo assaults the place. National Police agent Costa tasks GEO sniper Pablo, in a dire personal situation, to serve during the robbing attempt. Cast Production The screenplay was penned by Juan Galiñanes and Alberto Marini. The film was produced by Vaca Films alongside Playtime Productions, and it had the participation of RTVE, Amazon, TVG and support from ICAA and Agadic. Alberto Marini
Alberto "Beto" Marini (born 1972) is an Italian screenwriter and producer based in Spain. Biography Alberto Marini was born in Turin in 1972. He earned a degree in law, with specialisation in audiovisual law. Based in Barcelona since 1999, he joined Filmax as part of the development department. In 2010, after working for 11 years in the company (working in development, production and/or writing of films), he left the post of production director in order to work in "more personal" works by means of the creation of his own production company Rebelión Terrestre. His writing credits in the 2015 film ''Retribution'' earned him a nomination to the Goya Award for Best Original Screenplay. He made his directorial debut with the horror film ''Summer Camp''. ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''.
