Fathia Absie ( so, Fadxiya Cabsiiye, ar, فتحية إبسيآ) is a Somali-American writer, producer, actor and filmmaker. She has worked with both documentaries, as well as fictional narratives, and published a graphic novel titled, ''The Imperceptible Peace Maker''. Fathia is the co-founder of Eat With Muslims, a project designed to bring Muslims and non-Muslims together over dinner and stories in the hopes of building bridges between neighbors and communities of different faiths and cultures. Career Absie moved to Minnesota around 2010 and was formerly a social worker. She has worked for a number of organizations, including the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services in Columbus, Ohio, the University of Washington in Seattle, and Voice of America in Washington D.C. Fathia Al-Assal
Fathia al-Assal ( ar , فتحية العسال , Fatḥīyah al-ʻAssāl , translit-std=ALA; February 20, 1933June 15, 2014) was an Egyptian playwright and activist. She was born in Cairo. Her father did not allow her to receive any formal schooling but she later audited classes at the Screenplay Institute. She wrote plays for radio from 1957 until 1967, when she began writing television dramas. She also wrote five novels. Faithia Williams Balogun (born 5 February 1969) is a Nigerian actress, filmmaker, producer and director. Early life Faithia Williams who is of Delta state descent, was born in Ikeja on 5 February 1969. She was born into a polygamous family of nine. Faithia attended Maryland Primary School and Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School in Lagos state. She obtained her West African School Certificate in Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School. After that, she studied in the Kwara State Polytechnic for a diploma certificate. In 2016, Faithia got admission into Olabisi Onabanjo University to study Filming.
