Fateme Asadi
Fateme Asadi ( fa, فاطمه اسدی, translit=Fāṭmh Asdī, translit-std=ALA-LC; 1960–1984) was an Iranian Kurdish woman who was, according to the Iranian media, tortured and killed by the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI). The PDKI denied responsibility and accused the Iranian government of fabricating the report. The PDKI had detained her husband, prompting Asadi to travel to them to obtain his release. She disappeared and her remains were found 37 years later in 2021, identified by a DNA test, and buried in the Chehel Cheshmeh mountains in Divandarreh County, Divandarreh district. She was labelled a martyr by Iranian media. Early life and death Fateme Asadi was born in 1960 in Baqerabad, Divandarreh, Bagherabad, a village in Divandarreh, Kurdistan Province, Iran. ''Incidents'' is a 1987 collection of four essays by Roland Barthes. It was published posthumously by François Wahl, Barthes' literary executor. Summary In the first essay, ''La Lumiere du Sud-Ouest'', first published in ''L'Humanité'' in 1977, Roland Barthes reflects on the South West of France, the Adour and Bayonne. The second essay, ''Incidents'', written in 1969, details Barthes's holiday in Morocco, where he pays men and boys for sex. In ''Au Palace Ce Soir'', the third essay, first published in issue 10 of '' Vogue-Hommes'' in May 1978, Barthes describes Le Palace, a fashionable theatre-house in Paris. Rural Women
Rural women are a fundamental part of rural communities around the world. They play an important part in rural society, providing care and being involved in number of economic pursuits such as subsistence farming, petty trading and off-farm work. In most parts of the world, rural women work very hard but earn very little. Women often suffer discrimination because they are not allowed to have the same ownership of land as men. Most of what they earn does not directly stay in their control, because of unequal gender roles or discrimination. Fatima Masumeh Shrine
The Shrine of Fatima Masumeh ( fa, حرم فاطمه معصومه translit. ''haram-e fateme-ye masumeh'') is located in Qom, which is considered by Shia Muslims to be the second most sacred city in Iran after Mashhad. Fatima Masumeh was the sister of the eighth Imam Reza and the daughter of the seventh Imam Musa al-Kadhim (Tabari 60). In Shia Islam, women are often revered as saints if they are close relatives to one of the Twelver Imams. Fatima Masumeh is therefore honored as a saint, and her shrine in Qom is considered one of the most significant Shi'i shrines in Iran. Every year, thousands of Shi'i Muslims travel to Qom to honor Fatima Masumeh and ask her for blessings.
