Fateh Bahadur Singh is an Indian politician and a six times member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly from Campiyarganj and Paniyara of Gorakhpur district and former forest minister of Uttar Pradesh. He served as the pro-tem speaker in 17th Vidhan Sabha of Uttar Pradesh. Personal life He is the son of former Chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Vir Bahadur Singh. He is educated from Colonel Brown Cambridge School, Dehradun. A Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) is a representative elected by the voters of an electoral district (constituency) to the legislature of State government in the Indian system of government. From each constituency, the people elect one representative who then becomes a member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Each state has between seven and nine MLAs for every Member of Parliament (MP) that it has in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of India's bicameral parliament.
