Fatal Mistakes
''Fatal Mistakes'' is the seventh studio album by the Scottish band Del Amitri, released on 28 May 2021. It is the band's first studio album since 2002's ''Can You Do Me Good.'' It debuted at number five on the UK Albums Chart in the first week following its release. Background Del Amitri reformed in 2014 after a ten year hiatus. Initially the band thought that fans did not want unreleased material, choosing to play only previously released songs during the 2014 tour. Singer Justin Currie was hesitant to release an album of new songs saying "we thought that's probably not what anyone is going to want to listen to". By 2018, Currie and guitarist Iain Harvie had created finished songs that sounded "very Del Amitri". Del Amitri are a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Glasgow in 1980. Between 1985 and 2002, the band released six studio albums. Their 1995 single " Roll to Me" reached number 10 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Five Del Amitri albums have reached the Top 10 in the UK. Globally, Del Amitri have sold six million albums. The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. Love and Money are a Scottish rock/soul/funk band, formed in 1985 in Glasgow, Scotland. The band was formed by three former members of Friends Again (singer-songwriter and guitarist James Grant, drummer Stuart Kerr and keyboardist Paul McGeechan) along with bassist Bobby Paterson, who replaced Friends Again's Neil Cunningham and who had been a member of Set the Tone, a band previously signed to Island Records in 1983. Ash Soan
Ashley Soan is a British drummer. His influences include Stewart Copeland, Steve Ferrone, Jim Keltner, James Gadson, Phil Rudd, Art Blakey, Steve Gadd. Early life Educated at the Grove School In Market Drayton, Shropshire, Ashley Soan started having lessons at an early age with Brian Stone and then with Andy Richards. He studied music at Salford University and then went on to study at Drumtech (now BIMM London & formally Tech Music School) in Fulham, London. Career Soan's first break was a short stint with Tom Robinson and then in 1994 joined the band Del Amitri. Kris Dollimore
Kris Dollimore (born 2 January 1966) is an English rock guitarist, who is best known for being a founding member of the Godfathers as well as a member of the Damned and Del Amitri. He also performs and records as a solo artist. Biography Kris Dollimore was born on the Isle of Sheppey in northern Kent, where he lived until the age of 19 when he moved to London. His first appearance on a recording was in 1984 as guitarist and lead vocalist on the sole album by the pub rock-ish Major Setback Band, which also included his older brother Ian on bass.
