Ahmad Ibn Idris Al-Fasi
Abu al-Abbās Ahmad Ibn Idris al-Araishi al-Alami al-Idrisi al-Hasani () (1760–1837) was a Moroccan Sunni Islamic scholar, jurist and Sufi, active in Morocco, the Hejaz, Egypt, and Yemen. His main concern was the revivification of the sunnah or practice of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. For this reason, his students, such as the great hadith scholar Muhammad ibn Ali as-Senussi, gave him the title ''Muhyi 's-Sunnah'' "The Reviver of the Sunnah". His followers founded a number of important Sufi tariqas which spread his teachings across the Muslim world. Life Ahmad Ibn Idris was born in 1760 near the city of Fez, Morocco. He studied at the University of al-Qarawiyyin. In 1799 he arrived in Mecca, where he would "exercise his greatest influence, attracting students from all corners of the Islamic world". Fasi Zaka ( ps, فاسی زاکا; born 9 October 1976) is a Pakistani political commentator, columnist, radio talk show host, and television anchor. Zaka attended Somerville College, Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. He rose to prominence for his satirical views of the War on Terror and emergency rule, as host of ''News, Views & Confused'' on Aaj TV. After featuring as a columnist for ''The News'', Zaka began ''The Fasi Zaka Show'' on Radio1 FM91, which became one of the highest-rated radio shows in the country. He returned to television a decade later as co-host of primetime current affairs programme '' Do Raaye'' on Dawn News in 2017. Frank Fasi
Frank Francis Fasi (August 27, 1920 – February 3, 2010) was an American politician who was the longest-serving Mayor of Honolulu, Hawaii, serving for 22 years. He also served as a territorial senator and member of the Honolulu City Council. Early years Frank Francis Fasi was born on 27 August 1920 in Hartford, Connecticut, to Sicilian immigrants Carmelo and Josephine Lupo Fasi. Carmelo owned an ice business, and Frank began working for his father at age 11. He finished 7th out of class of 476 in high school, and graduated from Trinity College where he had been a history major on an academic scholarship. Fasi tried to join the United States Marine Corps after graduation from Trinity. The Marines turned him down because of his color blindness.
