Farz (1967 Film)
''Farz'' () is a 1967 Hindi-language spy thriller film, produced by Sunderlal Nahata Dundi under the Vijaya Lakhshmi Pictures banner and directed by Ravikant Nagaich. Starring Jeetendra, Babita and music composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. The film is a remake of the Telugu film ''Gudachari 116'' (1966) and is hugely inspired by James Bond Movies. The movie had two sequels, '' Keemat'' starring Dharmendra and '' Raksha'' starring Jeetendra again. Plot Secret Agent 116 named Gopal has been assigned the case of the homicide of a fellow secret agent (303) by the head of CID, who (303) found evidence that can help identify the perpetrators. During this investigation, Gopal meets lovely Sunita, and both end up falling in love with each other. ''Farz'' () is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film starring Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta and Jackie Shroff. Plot Mumbai is being terrorized by a dreaded criminal Gawa Firozi (Jackie Shroff) and his brother Sikander (Mukesh Tiwari). ACP Arjun Singh (Om Puri) and his brother-in-law, Tayaji (Dara Singh), work with the crime branch of the city's police department, but when Tayaji is killed while trying to save the Chief Minister from Gawa's attack, Arjun is devastated by his death. Arjun's wife Rukmani (Farida Jalal), daughter Kajal (Preity Zinta) and son Rahul are also equally shattered, and Arjun is fearful that the same person who killed his brother-in-law will come after him or his family.
