Faroe Islands Super Cup
The Faroe Islands Super Cup (in Faroese: ''Stórsteypadystur'', or simply ''Stórsteypið'') is a football competition contested between the Faroe Islands Premier League champions and the winners of the Faroe Islands Cup from the previous season. History The Super Cup was introduced in 2007 as the Lions Cup (named after the charity organization Lions Club) and is now an annual event. All proceeds from the matches are donated to charity. Since its creation, the Super Cup officially opens the season of Faroese football. Allan Mørkøre
Allan Mørkøre (born 22 November 1971) is a former Faroese professional football midfielder. Now he is a manager for B71 Sandoy, which plays in the men's second best division. He was manager for AB from 2008 to 2010, he replaced Sigfríður Clementsen, who is currently the manager for HB. In 2010, he became manager of B36 Tórshavn. Mørkøre is now assisting coach for FC Hoyvík, which plays in the second best Faroese football division 1. deild. Allan Mørkøre is the younger brother of fellow Faroese international Kurt Mørkøre. Brian Olsen (born 1975) is an American former mixed martial artist. A professional from 2004 until 2008, he was the last WEC Heavyweight Champion before it was abolished when Zuffa purchased the organization. Mixed martial arts career World Extreme Cagefighting Olsen made his debut against Craig Zellner on March 17, 2005 at WEC 14: Vengeance. He defeated Zellner via TKO in the second round. Olsen fought for the vacant WEC heavyweight title against Lavar Johnson on January 13, 2006 at WEC 18: Unfinished Business. Rógvi Poulsen is a Faroese footballer who currently plays for AB Argir. He has played four matches for the Faroe Islands national football team. Hans á Lag (born 26 September 1974) is a Faroe Islands, Faroese former sportsman. He is a former football player, former badminton player and former handball player. Hon won the Faroese championship in the men's badminton two times in 1993 and 1994 and the Faroese championship in the Faroe Islands Premier League six times. The club was founded in 1993, as result of the merger between Eiðis Bóltfelag, EB and Ítróttarfelagið Streymur, Streymur. NSÍ Runavík
NSÍ Runavík is a Faroese football club, playing in Runavík on the island of Eysturoy. It was founded 24 March 1957. In 2003 NSÍ participated for the first time on a European stage. In 2007, the club won the Faroe Islands Premier League for the first time. The club has won the Faroe Islands Cup in 1986, 2002 and 2017.
