Farnborough is a coastal rural locality in the Livingstone Shire, Queensland, Australia. In the Farnborough had a population of 476 people. Geography Farnborough is the northernmost extent of the Capricorn Coast. Farnborough's eastern boundary is a 17 km long beachfront onto the Coral Sea. However, the principal access to the beach is via Bangalee, a small beachside locality within Farnborough. In the southern part of Farnborough, there are a number of large rural residential blocks. The Farnborough Airshow, officially the Farnborough International Airshow, is a trade exhibition for the aerospace and defence industries, where civilian and military aircraft are demonstrated to potential customers and investors. Since its first show in 1948, Farnborough has seen the debut of many famous planes, including the Vickers VC10, Concorde, the Eurofighter, the Airbus A380, and the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. At the 1958 show, the RAF's Black Arrows executed a 22-plane formation loop, setting a world record. The international trade show is put together every two years by FIL Farnborough International Ltd. and runs for five days. Farnborough was a rural district in Warwickshire, England from 1894 to 1932. It was formed from that part of the Banbury rural sanitary district which was in Warwickshire (the rest, including part of the parish of Mollington historically in Warwickshire, becoming the Banbury Rural District in Oxfordshire, or the Middleton Cheney Rural District in Northamptonshire). Farnborough is a village and civil parish in the Stratford-on-Avon district of Warwickshire, England. It is located on the border with Oxfordshire, around 6 miles (10 km) north of Banbury. The population taken at the 2011 census was 265. The village has a church, St Botolphs, a village hall and an eating house, ''The Kitchen''. On the southern edge of the village is Farnborough Hall, a Grade I Listed building built by the Holbech family in the early 17th century and endowed to the National Trust in the 1960s.
