The Farmers and Merchants Bank-Masonic Lodge a is historic commercial and fraternal building at 288 North Broadway in Booneville, Arkansas. It is a two-story structure, with Colonial Revival architecture, Colonial Revival and Early Commercial architecture, Early Commercial architecture. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. It originally hosted a bank on its first floor and a Masonic meeting hall on its second floor. The building's cornerstone indicates the Masonic association, but not the bank's. The local Masonic lodge met there from 1906 to 1985. Booneville is a city in Logan County, Arkansas, United States and the county seat of its southern district. Located in the Arkansas River Valley between the Ouachita and Ozark Mountains, the city is one of the oldest in western Arkansas. The Booneville Commercial Historic District encompasses the early 20th-century commercial heart of Booneville, Arkansas. Located on the east side of the 100 and 200 blocks of North Broadway Avenue are line with commercial buildings, most of which were built between about 1900 and 1920. The city had originally been located south of this location, but was relocated beginning in 1899 due to the arrival of the railroad joining Little Rock, Arkansas and McAlester, Oklahoma. Most of the buildings are in typical early 20th century vernacular commercial styling. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. The Colonial Revival architectural style seeks to revive elements of American colonial architecture.
