Farid Karimi
Farid Behzadi Karimi ( fa, فرید بهزادی کریمی, born 14 May 1989 in Shahreza, Esfahan, Iran) is an Iranian footballer who plays for Naft Masjed Soleyman in the Persian Gulf Pro League. He usually plays as a striker. He is an ethnic Qashqayi. Club career Karimi joined Saba Qom in 2012 after spending the previous year at Steel Azin. Shahreza
Shahreza ( fa, شهرضا, also Romanized as Shahrezā and Shahriza; formerly Komsheh, then Qomsheh (Persian: ), also Romanized as Kowmsheh, and Qowmsheh) is a city and capital of Shahreza County, Isfahan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 108,299, in 30,368 families. Shahreza was selected as the national city of pottery in Iran in 2015. The reason for this choice was the high skill of the artists and the unique soil of this city. Qashqayi
Qashqai (قشقایی ديلى, ''Qašqāyī dili''; also spelled Qaşqay, Qashqayi, Kashkai, Kashkay, Qašqāʾī, by Michael Knüppel, by Gerhard Doerfer and Qashqa'i or Kaşkay) is an Oghuz Turkic language spoken by the Qashqai people, an ethnic group living mainly in the Fars Province of Southern Iran. ''Encyclopædia Iranica'' regards Qashqai as an independent third group of dialects within the Southwestern Turkic language group. It is known to speakers as ''Turki''. Estimates of the number of Qashqai speakers vary. '' Ethnologue'' gave a figure of 949,000 in 2015. The Qashqai language is closely related to Azerbaijani. Qashqai People
Qashqai people (pronounced ; fa, قشقایی) are a tribal confederation in Iran mostly of Turkic origin. They are also believed to have incorporated Lurs, Kurds, and Arabs. Almost all of them speak a Western Turkic (Oghuz) language known as the Qashqai language, which they call "Turki", as well as Persian (the national language of Iran) in formal use. The Qashqai mainly live in the provinces of Fars, Khuzestan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Bushehr and Southern Isfahan, especially around the cities of Shiraz and Firuzabad in Fars. The majority of Qashqai people were originally nomadic pastoralists and some remain so today. 2011–12 Persian Gulf Cup
The 2011–12 Persian Gulf Cup (also known as Iran Pro League) was the 29th season of Iran's Football League and 11th as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Sepahan were the defending champions. The season featured 15 teams from the 2010–11 Persian Gulf Cup and three new teams promoted from the 2010–11 Azadegan League: Damash as champions, Mes Sarcheshmeh and Fajr Sepasi. The league started on 2 August 2011 and ended on 11 May 2012. Sepahan won the Pro League title for the fourth time in their history (total fourth Iranian title).
