Farhad Rahbar
Farhad Rahbar ( fa, فرهاد رهبر; born 5 October 1959, in Semnan) is an Iranian economist, academic, president and member of board of trustees of the Islamic Azad University, full professor of interdisciplinary economics and the former Chancellor of the University of Tehran. He received his BA, MA and Ph.D in Theoretical Economics from University of Tehran. Previously, Rahbar was a Vice President of Iran and head of Management and Planning Organisation of Iran. He has also worked as the Deputy for economic affairs at the Ministry of Intelligence. From February 2008 until February 2014, he was the chancellor of University of Tehran. Management And Planning Organisation Of Iran
Management and Planning Organization of Iran (MPO) is an organization of the Government of Iran. It was first established after the decision of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad for terminating the Plan and Budget Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Plan and Budget Organization (PBO) in 2007. In July 2007, the MPO was dissolved after a direct order from President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Although the MPO was a state body whose head was appointed by the president, it was relatively independent organisation. President Ahmadinejad, however, established a new budget planning body directly under his control, a move that may give him a freer hand to implement populist policies blamed for driving up prices. Economist Fariborz Raiis-Dana said that the decision dealt the coup de grâce to the structure of the national management organization. Hamid Mirzadeh ( fa, حمید میرزاده, born November 29, 1950) is an Iranian politician and academic who was the 3rd president of the Islamic Azad University system. Early life and education He was born on 29 November 1950 in Sirjan, Kerman Province. He was educated in Sirjan and received his diploma in Mathematics. Political career Mirtzadeh had served political positions in three governments ( Mohammad-Java Bahonar, Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani). He was Mayor of Sirjan from 1980 to 1981. Abbas-Ali Amid Zanjani (30 March 1937 – 30 October 2011) was an Iranian politician and cleric. He was the only cleric president of University of Tehran, who himself had had no academic education of any kind, that served from 2005 to 2008. Early life Zanjani was a member of the Board of Directors of Imam Khomeini International University. He was also the founder of the Research Center for Studies and Researches on Islamic Sciences.
