Brant Page Hansen (born October 11, 1969) is an American radio personality and author. He has hosted the morning show on the national Christian radio WAY-FM Network and the afternoon show on the national Christian radio network Air1. He has a nationally syndicated radio show carried on over 200 stations in the United States, and is the storyteller for CURE International, a network of charity hospitals and clinics in 30 countries. Career Radio career Hansen graduated from the University of Illinois school of journalism in 1991. Hansen began his radio career while at the college rock station WPGU. Hansen moved on to be the morning show host for contemporary Christian WBGL-FM in Champaign, Illinois, then moved to Houston, Texas and worked at 89.3FM KSBJ. Chicken Street ( prs, کوچه مرغ ''Koch-e Murgha'') is a narrow street located in the Shahr-e Naw district of Kabul east of the Asamayi. It has been an iconic shopping street in the city and popular with foreigners, famous for its carpets, handicrafts and antiques. History Chicken Street was the major attraction for foreigners during the Hippie trail from the 1960s to late 1970s. Afghan coats, bracelets and plenty of hashish made it popular. Hippies would also smoke opium here. Along with hotels, it provided items for the travelers to use en route towards Kathmandu. The street and tourism in general declined with the start of the Soviet–Afghan War. NGEN Radio (stands for Now Generation Radio) is a Christian hip-hop and pop station based in Houston, Texas. NGEN plays artists like NF, Lecrae, Tori Kelly, Twenty One Pilots, Andy Mineo, Needtobreathe, KB, Gawvi, Bizzle and TobyMac, with remixes of Contemporary Christian artists. NGEN is a sister station of 89.3 KSBJ, a contemporary Christian station. On February 24, 2016, the KSBJ Educational Foundation (now Hope Media Group) announced it was purchasing KUHA, formerly a classical music station, from the University of Houston for $10 million. WRVL is a Contemporary Christian formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Lynchburg, Virginia, serving the New River Valley. WRVL is owned and operated by Liberty University. History WRVL went on the air in July 1981 and faced a series of technical problems in its early years revolving around interference to television reception near the station site. In December 1981, the Federal Communications Commission ordered the station to reduce effective radiated power from 100,000 to 5,000 watts. In 1982, its radio tower was brought down by vandals; while the station was silent, viewers reported better reception of WDBJ (channel 7).
