''Fareb'' (English: Deceit) is a 1996 Indian psychological thriller film directed by Vikram Bhatt. The film features newcomers Faraaz Khan and Suman Ranganathan with Milind Gunaji. It was released on 28 June 1996. The film is a remake of the inspired from 1992 film ''Unlawful Entry''. Plot The film opens up in J.S Medical College, Pune, where the principal calls Dr. Rohit Verma and tells him that he has received a gold medal, a bungalow, a car and a chief surgeon post in Bombay. Verma and his wife Suman, a school teacher, both reach their new house in Bombay. One year later, while they are asleep, they hear a voice. Verma starts searching the house when suddenly a burglar attacks him. Suman calls for the police, but the burglar escapes. Two policemen, Inspector Indrajeet Saxena aka Inder and Inspector Sule arrive to investigate and tell them to file a report. While in school, a peon places drugs in Suman's handbag. ''Fareb'' (English: ''Cheat'') is a 2005 Indian romantic thriller film directed by Deepak Tijori. The film stars sisters Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty and Manoj Bajpai. The music is composed by Anu Malik. Actress Shilpa Shetty worked for the first time with her real sister Shamita Shetty in this film. Plot Aditya (Manoj Bajpai) works as a creative director in an advertising agency. His wife, Neha (Shilpa Shetty), a medical practitioner, is devoted to her husband and kid. ''Farebi Daku'' also called ''Mysterious Bandit'' is a 1931 action silent film produced and directed by A. R. Kardar. Kardar set up his own production company "United Players Corporation" in 1928 and in quick succession produced and directed seven pictures, ''Husn Ka Daku'' (1929), '' Safdar Jung'' (1930), ''Sarfarosh'' (1930), '' Farebi Shahzada'' (1931), '' Khooni Katar'' (1931), ''Farebi Daku'' and ''The Wandering Dancer'' or ''Awara Raqasa''. ''Awara Raqasa'' was the only film out of the seven produced by Kardar, which was directed by J. K. Nanda, who had received his direction and cinematography training in Germany.
