Fanuza Fahimovna Kadirova (russian: Фануза Фахимовна Кадирова; born 6 April 1998) is a Russian ice hockey player and member of the Russian national team, currently playing with Dinamo-Neva Saint Petersburg of the Zhenskaya Hockey League (ZhHL). She has represented Russia at five IIHF Women's World Championships (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021) and at two Universiades, winning gold in both 2017 and 2019. Hockey Club Dinamo Saint Petersburg (russian: link=no, Хоккейный клуб "Динамо" Санкт-Петербург), is a Russian professional ice hockey club based in Saint Petersburg, Russia. They are members of the Supreme Hockey League (VHL) and they have a farm team in the Junior Hockey League (MHL) as well as a women's team in the Zhenskaya Hockey League (ZhHL), called Dinamo-Neva Saint Petersburg. The women's tournament in ice hockey at the 2018 Winter Olympics was held in Gangneung, South Korea between 10 and 22 February 2018. Eight countries qualified for the tournament; five of them did so automatically by virtue of their ranking by the International Ice Hockey Federation, one, South Korea, automatically qualified as hosts, while the two others took part in a qualification tournament. Under a special agreement with the IOC and the IIHF, twelve North Korean players joined the host team to form a united team. The 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship was an international ice hockey tournament organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), which was contested in Calgary, Alberta, from 20 to 31 August 2021, at WinSport Arena. It was originally scheduled to be contested in Halifax and Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada. It was the 20th edition of the IIHF Women's World Championship Top Division tournament. The 2019 IIHF Women's World Championship was an international Ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. It was contested in Espoo, Finland from 4 to 14 April 2019 at the Espoo Metro Areena. The United States won their fifth consecutive and ninth overall title after a shootout win over Finland. Canada claimed the bronze medal by defeating Russia 7–0. After the 2017 tournament, it was announced that tournament would expand to ten teams for 2019, having been played with eight teams since the first tournament in 1990, except in 2004, 2007, 2008, and 2009, where nine teams played.
