Fannrem Station
Fannrem is a village in the municipality of Orkland in Trøndelag county, Norway. The village is located along the Orkla River about south of the urban area of Orkanger, Thamshavn, and Råbygda, and about north of the village of Vormstad. Due to recent conurbation between Orkanger and Fannrem, Statistics Norway regards Orkanger-Fannrem as one community with a population (2018) of 8,204. Orkanger-Fannrem is one of the largest settlements in Trøndelag county. Fannrem was the administrative centre of the old Orkdal municipality until 1 January 1963, when the municipalities of Orkanger, Orkland, and Geitastrand were merged into a new Orkdal municipality. Knut Torbjørn Eggen
Knut Torbjørn Eggen (1 November 1960 – 20 February 2012) was a Norway, Norwegian association football, football coach and player, famous for his time in Rosenborg BK, Rosenborg as a player, and Moss FK, Moss and Fredrikstad FK, Fredrikstad as a coach. He was the son of Norway's most successful football coach, Nils Arne Eggen. Playing career Eggen was born on 1 November 1960 in Orkdal, to football player Nils Arne Eggen and Karin Pauline Eggen (1940–2011), as the first of three children. He began his youth career in the local club Orkdal IL, before moving on to Rosenborg BK, Rosenborg in 1978, where his father was the head coach. Nils Arne Eggen
Nils Arne Eggen (17 September 1941 – 19 January 2022) was a Norwegian footballer, manager and teacher from Orkdal. Eggen was closely tied to Rosenborg, the club he managed for 23 years between 1970 and 2010. He is Norway's most successful club manager throughout history, having won the Norwegian top division fifteen times and the Norwegian Football Cup six times as a manager. Eggen's tactical emphasis was on playing 4-3-3 and attacking football and his way of playing football has frequently been cited as an inspiration among players, coaches and clubs alike, both domestically and abroad. Roar Ljøkelsøy (born 31 May 1976) is a Norwegian former ski jumper who competed from 1993 to 2010, and twice finished runner up in the World Cup. Ski jumping is a winter sport in which competitors aim to achieve the farthest jump after sliding down on their skis from a specially designed curved ramp. Orkdal Church ( no, Orkdal kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Orkland municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Fannrem, about south of the town of Orkanger. It is the main church for the Orkdal parish as well as the seat of the Orkdal prosti (deanery) within the Diocese of Nidaros.
