Fangamer
''Fangamer'' is a video game merchandising site which was spun out from Starmen.net, an EarthBound online forum. It operates an online store that sells items such as hats, pins, vinyl records and t-shirts and other video game apparel. In recent years the site has also begun selling physical editions of video games. History Starmen.net, an online forum, began selling T-shirts and mugs in 2007 as a way to pay for the server costs of the site. One of the creators of the site stated, "Well, the ads weren’t paying the bills, so we thought, ‘What if we took the kinda-crappy print-on-demand stuff we’re making on CafePress, and we did it at a much higher-quality?''".'' The next year, Fangamer was launched with an initial offering of "two t-shirts, a pin set, and a mug" based on Earthbound. After the success of this initial run of merchandise, Fangamer started to expand into creating items for other games such as ''Phoenix Wright'' and ''Chrono Trigger''. To avoid infringement of ...

Undertale
''Undertale'' is a 2015 2D role-playing video game created by American indie developer Toby Fox. These choices affect the game, with the dialogue, characters, and story changing based on outcomes. Outside of artwork and character designs by Temmie Chang, Fox developed the entirety of the game by himself, including the script and music. The game took inspiration from several sources, including the ''Brandish'', ''Mario & Luigi'', and ''Mother'' role-playing game series, bullet hell shooter series ''Touhou Proj ...

Metroidvania
Metroidvania is a sub-genre of platform video games focused on guided non-linearity and utility-gated exploration and progression. The term is a portmanteau of the names of the video game series '' Metroid'' and ''Castlevania'', with games in the genre borrowing from both series. Typically based on two-dimensional, sidescrolling platform gameplay, Metroidvania games feature a large interconnected world map the player can explore, although parts of the world will be inaccessible to the player until they acquire special items, tools, weapons, abilities, or knowledge within the game. Acquiring such improvements can also aid the player in defeating more difficult enemies and locating shortcuts and secret areas, and often includes retracing one's steps across the map. Through this, Metroidvania games include tighter integration of story and level design, careful design of levels and character controls to encourage exploration and experimentation, and a means for the player to become mo ...
