Peter Famiyeh Bozah (born 11 September 1994), known by the stage name Fameye, is a Ghanaian rapper and musician from Bogoso. He is best known for his single "Nothing I Get". He released a remix of the song which featured Article Wan, Medikal and Kuami Eugene. He was a member of MTN Hitmaker Season 3. He won an award for the best new artist of the year at the 2020 VGMA's. Early life and education Fameye was born in Accra but hails from Bogoso, in the Western Region of Ghana. He attended Odorgonno Senior High School and completed in the year 2013. Derrick Sarfo Kantanka, (born 14 February 1995), best known as Amerado, is a Ghanaian rapper from Kumasi. He is the curator of Yeete Nsem, Ghana's first news casting rap series. Early life and education Derrick Kantanka was born and raised in Ejisu, Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He attended KNUST Senior High School. Music career After placing third at the Solid FM Freestyle Show in 2015, Amerado caught the attention of music producer, sound engineer and A&R, Azee Ntwene, who signed the rapper to his label MicBurnerz Music. MTN Hitmaker is a television music competition created by MTN Ghana in 2011. The show is available to all amateur musicians living in Ghana or who are habitually residing in Ghana. Since its inception in 2012, the competition has fostered and injected several music talents into the public. Some of these artists include Kwame Eugene, Kidi, Fameye and Mr Drew. Format Auditions Every year's competition begins with a series of audition stages, the first of which, termed "Scouting," is guided by some of Ghana's beatmakers who are experienced in all music genre.
