Falubaz Zielona Góra (football Club)
Falubaz Zielona Góra is a Polish motorcycle speedway team based in Zielona Góra who currently races in Ekstraliga (speedway), PGE Ekstraliga. It is one of the most successful teams in Poland, winning seven Team Speedway Polish Championships (latest in 2013). It is commonly known as ''Falubaz'' due to one of its former names. Stadium The Zielona Góra Speedway Stadium, informally named as ''W69'', is located on 69 Wrocławska Street. It contains 15,000 seats. The track is 337.50 metres long and has a granite surface. It has had an inflatable airfence since May 4, 2006. The stadium was later renovated with floodlights erected and the track widened on the bends. The club's new headquarters were also built and moved from 31 Dworcowa Street. Jan Krzystyniak
Jan Krzystyniak (born 14 March 1958 in Zielona Góra, Poland) is a retired Polish motorcycle speedway rider, and a speedway team manager. He was Polish Speedway Champion nine times, including pair and team championships. Sport career Jan Krzystyniak received his speedway license in 1978, following the steps of his brother Alfred. Until 1985 he rode for ZKŻ Zielona Góra, then he moved on to Unia Leszno (1986–1988), Stal Rzeszów (1989–1993, Polonia Piła (1994–1997) and Iskra Ostrów Wielkopolski (1998). Krzystyniak won 10 medals at Team Speedway Polish Championship: five golden (1981, 1982, 1985, 1987, 1988), one silver (1984) and four bronze medals (1979, 1986, 1996, 1997). During his career he was victorious at Polish Pairs Speedway Championship four times, he also came second in the Polish Individual Speedway Championship twice (1988, 1989). Andrzej Huszcza
Andrzej Huszcza (born 10 March 1957 in Krępa, Poland) is a Polish former international motorcycle speedway rider who was a reserve (did not ride) in the 1988 World Final in Vojens, Denmark. Huszcza rode for Falubaz Zielona Góra for thirty years from 1975 until 2005. He then spent two seasons with PSŻ Poznań before finally retiring aged fifty. Huszcza spent two seasons in the UK riding for the Hackney Hawks, Reading Racers and the Leicester Lions in the British League. In 2008, he returned to ZKŻ Zielona Góra as coach.
