False Alarm (Two Door Cinema Club Album)
''False Alarm'' is the fourth studio album by Northern Irish indie rock band Two Door Cinema Club, released on 21 June 2019 by Prolifica Inc. and PIAS Recordings. The album was preceded by four singles, "Talk", "Satellite", "Dirty Air" and "Once". Writing and development After ending their tour in support for their previous album, ''Gameshow (album), Gameshow'' (2016), the band started writing new ideas while on the road. In an interview with ''Digital Spy'' in June 2018, lead singer Alex Trimble revealed that the band was working on an album and that there would be "interesting" collaborations with other artists. Release and promotion On 11 February 2019, Two Door Cinema Club released a teaser video on their social media accounts to tease a new album with the caption "Album 4 – who's ready?" Two Door Cinema Club
Two Door Cinema Club are a band from Bangor, County Down, Bangor, Northern Ireland. The band formed in 2007 and is composed of three members: Alex Trimble (vocals, rhythm guitar, beats, synths), Sam Halliday (lead guitar, backing vocals), and Kevin Baird (bass, synths, backing vocals). The band's debut album, ''Tourist History'', was released on 1 March 2010 by French independent record label Kitsuné Music. , established in 1999, is the holding company at the head of a Japanese corporate group that supplies statistics and information on music and the music industry in Japan and Western music. It started as, which was founded by Sōkō Koike in November 1967 and became known for its music charts. Oricon Inc. was originally set up as a subsidiary of Original Confidence and took over the latter's Oricon record charts in April 2002. The Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA) is a non-profit association set up in 1999 to promote certain interests of the music industry in Ireland. Michael W. Eagle II (born November 14, 1980), better known by his stage name Open Mike Eagle, is an American hip hop artist and comedian. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, he is now based in Los Angeles, California, where he is a member of the hip hop collective Project Blowed. Mokoomba is a Zimbabwean musical group, originally from Chinotimba township, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The group sings in a number of languages including English, Luvale language, Luvale, Tonga language (Zambia and Zimbabwe), Tonga, Chewa language, Nyanja, Northern Ndebele language, Ndebele and Shona language, Shona. Mokoomba takes its name from a Tonga word that connotes deep respect for the Zambezi river and the vibrant life along its banks. Weighted Arithmetic Mean
The weighted arithmetic mean is similar to an ordinary arithmetic mean (the most common type of average), except that instead of each of the data points contributing equally to the final average, some data points contribute more than others. The notion of weighted mean plays a role in descriptive statistics and also occurs in a more general form in several other areas of mathematics. If all the weights are equal, then the weighted mean is the same as the arithmetic mean. While weighted means generally behave in a similar fashion to arithmetic means, they do have a few counterintuitive properties, as captured for instance in Simpson's paradox. In statistics, the standard score is the number of standard deviations by which the value of a raw score (i.e., an observed value or data point) is above or below the mean value of what is being observed or measured.
