"Fallin' for You" is the third single from Eva Avila's debut album, '' Somewhere Else''. The song was produced by Adam Messinger with music by Jorge Corante and words and melody by Lindy Robbins and Carmen Reece. It was released for radio airplay on April 3 across Canada, and in the final 16 seconds of the track separated from the song, Avila sings in Spanish. The song also ended up becoming a top forty hit in Canada, peaking at number 35 on the Canadian Hot 100. Eva Avila (born Eva Gougeon-Ávila on 25 February 1987) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and actress. She won the fourth season of the CTV reality show ''Canadian Idol'' in 2006. Early life Avila was born in Gatineau, Quebec. Her father introduced her to music. She has been singing in public since age 2, and at age 9 was a winner on ''Homegrown Cafe'', a talent show on CJOH-TV in Ottawa. Prior to ''Idol'', she worked as a postal clerk and a beauty consultant. She is a former winner of the ''Jeune Diva du Québec'' contest. Avila also participated in another competition for a Quebec TV téléroman aired on Radio-Canada called ''Virginie''. Adam "Messy" Messinger is a Grammy Award-winning Canadians, Canadian songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist currently based in Los Angeles, California. He is a producer for Canadian reggae band Magic!, but was initially a producer/songwriter as a member of the production duo The Messengers (producers), The Messengers—both along with Nasri (musician), Nasri Atweh—earning credits on a multitude of successful singles and albums.
