Fallen Angels (comics)
Fallen Angels is a team of fictional superhuman teenagers appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. A spin-off of The New Mutants, the series starred Sunspot and Warlock along with the character Boom-Boom from X-Factor, along with several additional characters, many of whom were obscure Marvel figures. The team's only appearances were in the ''Fallen Angels'' eight-issue limited series, written by Jo Duffy, which ran from April 1987 to November 1987. The series was originally titled ''Misfits''. Early ads and solicitations for the series showed this title shortly before it was released. A second mini-series was planned but never published. All eight issues were reprinted in 2011 in paperback and hardcover volumes. History The group formed after Sunspot accidentally injured fellow New Mutant Cannonball, during a soccer game. Kerry Gammill
Kerry Gammill (born April 26, 1954) is an American artist who has worked in the fields of comic books, special effects, storyboards, and character designs. As a comic book artist, he is best known for his work on ''Power Man and Iron Fist'' for Marvel Comics and '' Superman'' for DC Comics. Early life Gammill grew up as a fan of the comics of the 1960s and 1970s, particularly the work of Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, John Buscema, Gene Colan, and Jim Steranko. Career Kerry Gammill began working for Marvel Comics with his first published work, a Spider-Man/ Daredevil story titled "A Fluttering of Wings Most Foul", appearing in ''Marvel Team-Up'' #73 (Sept. 1978). Moon-Boy is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is best known as the constant companion of Devil Dinosaur. Publication history Being primarily a supporting character to Devil Dinosaur, Moon-Boy has yet to be the lead character in a comic book series of his own. His appearances in print have been invariably linked to the appearances of Devil Dinosaur. Moon-Boy made his debut in ''Devil Dinosaur'' #1 (April 1978) and was a continuing character in all nine issues of the series' run. Husk (comics)
Husk (Paige Guthrie) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Guthrie is a superhero associated with the X-Men. A mutant, Husk has the ability to remove one layer of skin—or "husk"—revealing an epidermis of a different composition beneath. She often changes into metal or stone form, but can shift into a variety of substances. Husk is from a Kentucky coal mining family and is the younger sister of the X-Men's Cannonball. Unlike her brother, Husk is self-conscious of being seen as a " hick" (Jubilee often called her "hayseed"). Laura Kinney (born X-23; codename Wolverine) is a fictional superhero appearing in media published by Marvel Entertainment, most commonly in association with the X-Men. Cable (Nathan Christopher Charles Summers) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, commonly in association with X-Force and the X-Men.
