Faisal Basri
Faisal Basri (born November 6, 1959) is an Indonesian economist and politician. He is a faculty member at University of Indonesia, specializing in political economics, and a member of KPPU, Indonesian competition regulator. Basri is the grandnephew of Indonesia's third Vice President, Adam Malik. In 2012, Basri ran for governor in the Jakarta gubernatorial election as independent along with Biem Benyamin, the son of a prominent Betawi figure, Benyamin Sueb, but he was unsuccessful in winning the governorship, with fewer votes than Joko Widodo, Fauzi Bowo, and Hidayat Nur Wahid, and ahead of Alex Noerdin and Hendarji Supanji. Fauzi Bowo
Fauzi Bowo (born 10 April 1949) is an Indonesian politician and diplomat who was the Indonesian Ambassador to Germany from 2013 to 2018. He was the governor of Jakarta between 2007 and 2012 and previously served as deputy governor from 2002 to 2007 under Sutiyoso's governorship. He has worked for the Jakarta municipal administration since 1977 and was once a treasurer of the Golkar organization from 1992 to 1997. On 9 August 2007, he was elected governor of Jakarta for the 2007–2012 term, beating his only rival Adang Daradjatun 57.9% to 42.1% in the first ever election for the post. He was inaugurated on 7 October 2007. Having run for a second term as governor in the 2012 gubernatorial election, he was defeated on 20 September 2012 after a second-round runoff by Joko Widodo. Setiabudi is a district in South Jakarta, one of the five administrative cities which forms the Jakarta Capital Region, Indonesia. BTV, formerly known as Q Channel, QTV and BeritaSatu (literally translated as ''NewsOne'') is an Indonesian digital free-to-air news network owned by B Universe. The channel is the first Indonesia-based pay television channel. Hendarji Supanji
Hendardji Soepandji (born 10 February 1952 in Semarang, Indonesia) is a retired general of Indonesian army. He was one of six candidates for 2012 Jakarta gubernatorial election. He is the brother of the former Indonesian Attorney General, Hendarman Soepandji and Governor of Lemhanas (Lembaga Ketahanan Nasional), Budi Susilo Soepandji. Biography Hendardji was born on 10 February 1952, in Semarang. According to his mother, Hendardji had shown his interest about military since he was 8. After graduating from high school and becoming the best graduate in Karesidenan Semarang, Hendardji enrolled to military academy, though his teachers suggested him to attend Bandung Institute of Technology.
