Faisal Aden
Faisal Aden (born January 1, 1989) is a Somali professional basketball player. Pro career After going undrafted in 2012 NBA draft, he signed with the Leuven Bears in Basketball League Belgium but was cut due to failing a physical. In November, Aden was selected in the 2012 NBA Development League Draft by the Golden State Warriors' D-League affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors as the 13th pick in the 3rd round. He was shortly traded to the Texas Legends. After appearing in one preseason game with the Legends, Aden was waived. On February 16, 2013, Aden signed a contract with the Italian powerhouse Virtus Roma. Two months later, Aden left Virtus Roma. During the following preseason, he was part of the German BBL team of SC Rasta Vechta, but was cut from the team shortly before the 2013–14 season's start. In 2019, Aden was on the roster of Kenyan club KPA during the 2021 BAL Qualifying Tournaments. On December 19, he scored 20 points in the 79–76 win against Ferroviário de Maputo. ...

2013 FIBA Africa Championship Qualification
The 2013 FIBA Africa Championship Qualification occurred on various dates between 8 July 2012 and 23 February 2013. It was used to determine which African national basketball teams would qualify for the 2013 FIBA Africa Championship. Teams competed with other teams in their respective "zones" for a spot in the Championship tournament. Rwanda men's national basketball team is a basketball team that represents Rwanda in international competitions. It is administered by the Rwandan Basketball Federation (FERWABA) Rwanda has yet to qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, but has qualified for the AfroBasket six times. Before 2000, Team Rwanda was virtually unknown to most basketball fans worldwide. Since the mid-2000s however, the team slowly but surely has made a name for itself. Team Rwanda has emerged as a major force in East Africa and has qualified for the AfroBasket, Africa's prime basketball event, four times in a row between 2007 and 2013. At the AfroBasket 2021 on home soil, Rwanda beat Angola, winner of ten AfroBasket editions between 1989 and 2013. The victory was cosidered an enourmous achievement of the national team.

2020 BAL Qualifying Tournaments
The 2020 BAL Qualifying Tournaments were the inaugural qualifying tournaments of the Basketball Africa League (BAL), the newly launched premier basketball league of Africa jointly organized by the NBA and FIBA. While the NBA will co-organise from the regular season, the qualifiers are completely organised by FIBA Africa. A total of 31 teams from 31 countries participate in the qualifying tournaments in order to determine which six teams will play in the 2020 BAL regular season, along with six directly placed six teams. Kenya Ports Authority, commonly known as KPA, is a basketball club based in Mombasa, Kenya. Owned by the Kenya Ports Authority corporation, the team has competed in the KBF Premier League since first qualifying in 2008.
