Fair-Haired Child
"Fair Haired Child" is the ninth episode of the first season of ''Masters of Horror''. It originally aired in North America on January 6, 2006. A 15-year-old outcast named Tara is kidnapped by a strange couple and locked in a basement with their son who has a dark secret. Plot Tara (Lindsay Pulsipher), though a pretty and talented teenage girl, is not liked at her school and has no friends. Upon returning home one day, she is kidnapped and drugged. She awakens in a mansion in the company of a woman in a nurse's outfit, and attempts to reach out to her mother through telephone, but the latter seems strangely unfazed by her daughter's plight. After the call disconnects, the "nurse" starts asking personally invasive questions, like whether Tara has been baptized or whether she ever had sexual intercourse in her life. Origin In 2002, director Mick Garris invited some director friends to an informal dinner at a restaurant in Sherman Oaks, California. William Malone (director)
William Malone (born 1947) is an American horror filmmaker who directed several movies such as the 1999 remake ''House on Haunted Hill'', '' Scared to Death'', '' Creature'', and ''FeardotCom''. After a brief career in makeup and costumes, he attended UCLA film school and moved on as a director thereafter. History Malone was born in 1947 in Lansing, Michigan where, during high school, he played in a Beatles-inspired garage band called The Plagues. The band released several 45 rpm singles on their own label Quarantined Records and on Fenton Records, an independent record label (affiliated with now defunct Great Lakes Studios, in Sparta, MI). Malone moved to California at age 19 to pursue a career in music. Nicholas Pike is an Emmy Award winning English film and television music composer. He was born in Water Orton, Warwickshire, England, and is known for featuring unique sounds and instrumentation.
