Facundo Ferrero
Facundo Ferrero (born 5 March 1995) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Sarmiento. Career Club Ferrero's career began in 2012 with Primera B Nacional team Deportivo Merlo, he appeared on the club's substitutes bench throughout 2012–13 in matches against Almirante Brown, Gimnasia y Esgrima and Rosario Central but was unused; Merlo were relegated in that season to Primera B Metropolitana. Ferrero made his professional debut on 25 May 2014 in a home league defeat to Fénix. Over the next year, Ferrero played a total of nine more games for the club. In January 2016, Ferrero joined Chacarita Juniors of Primera B Nacional. Despite being on the bench nineteen times in 2016–17, Ferrero left in July 2018 following zero appearances. Primera B Metropolitana's Atlanta signed Ferrero soon after his release from Chacarita Juniors. International Ferrero was selected by the Argentina U23 squad for the 2016 Sait Nagjee Trophy. The 2016 Sait Nagjee Trophy was the 36th edition of the Sait Nagjee Football Tournament and the first edition of the tournament since 1995. 2016 Primera B Nacional
The 2016 Argentine Primera B Nacional was the 31st season of the Argentine second division. The season began in January and ended in July. Twenty-two teams competed in the league, sixteen returning from the 2015 season, two teams that were relegated from Primera División and four teams promoted from Federal A and B Metropolitana. Competition format The league's format has changed from last season. In this year there were twenty-two teams who played each other once in one Round-robin tournament. 2014 Primera B Metropolitana
The 2013-14 season, is the 29º Primera B Metropolitana season since it became part of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams directly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA through local leagues (known as "indirectly affiliated to AFA") have to play the Torneo Federal A, which is the other third tier competition. For this season, AFA decided to change the structure in the Argentine football league system, and exceptionally 3 teams will be promoted to the next season of Primera B Nacional and there will be no relegations for this season. Primera B Metropolitana is one of two professional leagues that form the third level of the Argentine football league system. The division is made up of 17 clubs mainly from the city of Buenos Aires and its metropolitan area, Greater Buenos Aires. Originally created as the second division, it became the third level after a restructuring of the system in 1985 that ended with the creation of Primera B Nacional, set as the second division since then. The other league at level three is the Torneo Federal A, where teams from regional leagues take part.
