Facing Worlds
Facing Worlds, also known by its filename CTF-Face, is a multiplayer map for the first-person shooter video games ''Unreal Tournament'' (1999), ''Unreal Tournament 2003'', ''Unreal Tournament 2004'', '' Unreal Tournament 3'', and ''Unreal Tournament'' (2014). Consisting of two identical towers separated by a bridge, each team must fight their way into the opposing team's tower and capture their flag. The original ''Unreal Tournament'' version of Facing Worlds received critical acclaim, and is widely regarded as one of the greatest first-person shooter maps of all time. Design Facing Worlds originally appeared in ''Unreal Tournament'' (1999). The map is set in space on a small asteroid in orbit over Earth. Unreal Tournament
''Unreal Tournament'' is a first-person arena shooter video game developed by Epic Games and Digital Extremes. The second installment in the ''Unreal'' series, it was first published by GT Interactive in 1999 for Microsoft Windows, and later released on the PlayStation 2 and Dreamcast by Infogrames in 2000 and 2001, respectively. Players compete in a series of matches of various types, with the general aim of out-killing opponents. The PC and Dreamcast versions support multiplayer online or over a local area network. Michiel Van Den Bos
Michiel "M.C.A." van den Bos (born 23 May 1975) is a Dutch musician who composes primarily for Epic Games and Triumph Studios. He began composing on the Commodore 64 and Amiga before making the transition to composing professional soundtracks for video games such as '' Unreal'', ''Unreal Tournament'', ''Deus Ex'', and the ''Overlord'' series. His most recent project is the soundtrack of '' Age of Wonders: Planetfall''. According to an interview, his influences are LTJ Bukem, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, Martin Galway, Underworld, Rob Hubbard, Jeroen Tel, Ben Daglish, Carcass, At the Gates, Insomnium, PFM and Artemis. ''One Must Fall: 2097'' is a fighting video game for all IBM-compatible computers on DOS, programmed by Diversions Entertainment, published by Epic MegaGames and released in October 1994. The game was later patched to include multiplayer support. In February 1999, the game was declared freeware by the developers. A sequel titled '' One Must Fall: Battlegrounds'' was released in 2003. Gameplay ''One Must Fall: 2097'' replaces the human combatants typical of contemporary fighter video games with large Human Assisted Robots (HAR). These HARs are piloted through a physical and mental link to the human pilots, but this is merely a plot concept and is never shown on-screen.
