Face To Face (Westlife Album)
''Face to Face'' is the sixth studio album by Irish boy band Westlife and it was released in the UK on 31 October 2005. The album contains pop songs and some dance oriented tracks. It was also the band's second album to be released as a four-piece. It was also the band's seventh album release under RCA Records and Sony BMG. The album was also released on DualDisc in the UK, which included the videos of the making of "You Raise Me Up", the ''Face to Face'' album photoshoot and exclusive interview footage. The album includes a cover of "She's Back" by Human Nature, "Desperado" by the Eagles, Collin Raye's number one hit " In This Life", and a Nick Carter solo song, "Heart Without a Home". The album had more than 10,000 legal copies sold in mainland China. Westlife
Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1998. The group currently consists of members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Brian McFadden was a member, until he left in 2004. The group temporarily disbanded in 2012 after 14 years of success and later reunited in 2018. The group has released twelve studio albums: four as a five-piece and eight as a four-piece. They rose to fame with their debut international self-titled studio album, '' Westlife'' (1999). Floyd Elliot Wray (born August 22, 1960) is an American country music singer, known professionally as Collin Raye, and previously as Bubba Wray. Under the latter name, he recorded as a member of the band The Wrays between 1983 and 1987. He made his solo debut in 1991 as Collin Raye with the album '' All I Can Be'', which produced his first Number One hit in "Love, Me". "Desperado" is a power ballad by the American rock band the Eagles. The track was written by Glenn Frey and Don Henley and appeared on the 1973 album ''Desperado'' as well as numerous compilation albums. Although it was never released as a single, it became one of Eagles' best-known songs. It ranked No. 494 on ''Rolling Stone''s 2004 list of "The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time". DualDisc
The DualDisc is a type of double-sided optical disc product developed by a group of record companies including MJJ Productions Inc., EMI Music, Universal Music Group, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group, and 5.1 Entertainment Group and later under the aegis of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). It featured an audio layer intended to be compatible with CD players (but too thin to meet Red Book CD Specifications) on one side and a standard DVD layer on the other. In this respect it was similar to, but distinct from, the DVDplus developed in Europe by Dieter Dierks and covered by European patents.
