Face The Ace
Face the Ace was a poker-themed game show on NBC, first airing August 1, 2009. The show was hosted by Steve Schirripa (''The Sopranos'') along with hostess/spokesmodel Megan Abrigo and featured the commentary of Ali Nejad, who also served in the same capacity for NBC's ''Poker After Dark''. The show's primary sponsor was Full Tilt Poker, which supplied the contestants and the professional poker players ("aces") against whom they competed. Format Contestants are poker players 21 or older who won a free qualifying tournament on Full Tilt Poker and were flown to Las Vegas for filming at Cin City Studios. Jennifer Harman
Jennifer C. Harman (born November 29, 1964) is an American professional poker player. She has won two World Series of Poker bracelets in open events, one of only four women to have done so. Career Harman won her first World Series of Poker bracelet in 2000 at the No Limit Deuce to Seven Lowball Event (at a final table that also included fellow professionals Lyle Berman and Steve Zolotow). She had never played that game prior to the event, but received a five-minute tutoring session from Howard Lederer before playing. Gavin Smith (September 4, 1968 – January 14, 2019) was a Canadian professional poker player who won the World Poker Tour's Season IV Mirage Poker Showdown Championship event and the WPT Season IV Player of the Year award in 2005, then at the 2010 World Series of Poker, won the $2,500 Mixed Hold 'em event along with his first bracelet.
