Fabrizio Rongione
Fabrizio Rongione (born 3 March 1973) is a Belgian screenwriter, film producer and actor. Career Rongione was born in Brussels, Belgium of Italian descent. He collaborated with Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne in ''Rosetta'' (1999), '' L’Enfant'' (2005), ''Lorna's Silence'' (2008), ''The Kid with a Bike'' (2011), ''Two Days, One Night'' (2014) and ''The Unknown Girl'' (2016). In 2002 he founded the film production company Eklektik Productions with Nicolas de Borman, Samuel Tilman and Stéphane Heymans. Rongione hosted the Magritte Awards ceremony for two consecutive years in 2013 and 2014, and again in 2018. 2014 Cannes Film Festival
The 67th Cannes Film Festival was held from 14 to 25 May 2014. New Zealand film director Jane Campion was the head of the jury for the main competition section. The Palme d'Or was awarded to the Turkish film '' Winter Sleep'' directed by Nuri Bilge Ceylan. The festival opened with the long delayed '' Grace of Monaco'', directed by Olivier Dahan and starring Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly, which played out of competition. The restored 4K version of Sergio Leone's 1964 western ''A Fistful of Dollars'', served as the closing night film. Due to European Parliament elections which took place on 25 May 2014, the winner of the Palme d'Or was announced on 24 May, and the winning film in the Un Certain Regard section announced on 23 May. 8th Magritte Awards
The 8th Magritte Awards ceremony, presented by the Académie André Delvaux, honored the best films of 2017 in Belgium and took place on 3 February 2018 at the Square in the historic site of Mont des Arts, Brussels, beginning at 8:45 p.m. CET. During the ceremony, the Académie André Delvaux presented Magritte Awards in 22 categories. The ceremony was televised in Belgium by La Deux, after RTBF took over broadcast rights from BeTV. Actress Natacha Régnier presided the ceremony, while Fabrizio Rongione hosted the show for the third time. The nominees for the 8th Magritte Awards were announced on 11 January 2018. Films with the most nominations were '' A Wedding'' with eight, followed by '' This Is Our Land'' with seven and ''Insyriated'' with six.
