Fabrice Rouzier is a Haitian pianist, producer, and entrepreneur who has been in the Haitian music industry for more than 20 years. Early years Fabrice Rouzier was born in Hôpital du Canapé-Vert in Port-au-Prince. He has lived in Bois Moquette, where he has a recording studiHe currently resides in Pétion-Ville, where he has spent most of his life. Musical career Fabrice Rouzier began playing piano with his aunt Marguerite Borno at the age of four. By 1984, he was playing and recording with musicians and producers including Hans Peters, Bobby Denis, and Patrick Dejea He started his career in the early 80's and in 1986, he joined, Keke Belizaire, Mano Obas, Choupite Jacquette and other musicians to launch the musical band, Mizik Mizik. Port-au-Prince ( , ; ht, Pòtoprens ) is the capital and most populous city of Haiti. The city's population was estimated at 987,311 in 2015 with the metropolitan area estimated at a population of 2,618,894. Michel Martelly
Michel Joseph Martelly (; born 12 February 1961) is a Haitian musician and politician who was the President of Haiti from May 2011 until February 2016. He was sanctioned by the Canadian Government for his involvement in human rights violations and supporting criminal gangs on 17 November 2022. Martelly was one of Haiti's best-known musicians for over a decade, going by the stage name Sweet Micky. For business and musical reasons, Martelly has moved a number of times between the United States and Haiti. When travelling to the United States, Martelly mostly stays in Florida. After his presidency, Martelly returned to his former band and sang a carnival méringue entitled "Bal Bannan nan" (Give Her the Banana), as a mocking response to Liliane Pierre Paul, a famous Haitian female journalist in Port-au-Prince. Jean Bélony Murat (born 29 October 1979, known by his stage name BélO) is a Haitian composer and guitarist. The songs in his first album ''Lakou trankil'' (''Quiet Streets'') explain and reflect the problems Haitians face.
