Fabrice Jaumont is a French-born author and educator best known for his advocacy for Dual language, dual-language bilingual education around the world. He is the author of several books translated in multiple languages. Valenciennes
Valenciennes (, also , , ; nl, label=also Dutch, Valencijn; pcd, Valincyinnes or ; la, Valentianae) is a commune in the Nord department, Hauts-de-France, France. It lies on the Scheldt () river. Although the city and region experienced a steady population decline between 1975 and 1990, it has since rebounded. The 1999 census recorded that the population of the commune of Valenciennes was 41,278, and that of the metropolitan area was 399,677. Blue Metropolis
Blue Metropolis (also known as Blue Met) is an international literary festival held annually in Montreal since 1999. Founded by Montreal writer Linda Leith, it is one of the world's first multilingual literary festival. In early 2011, Leith departed, and a new president and a new director of programming were hired. The festival is put on by Blue Metropolis Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation established in 1997. The foundation offers educational and social programs year-round, in classrooms and online.
