Fabrice Brégier
Fabrice Brégier (born 16 July 1961) is a French business executive. He was appointed president and chief operating officer of Airbus on 1 January 2017. He is on the executive committee of Airbus, which operates Airbus Commercial Aircraft, Airbus Defence and Space, and Airbus Helicopters. As of October 2018 he is now leading the French operations of Palantir Technologies. Early life Fabrice Brégier was born in Dijon in July 1961, and graduated from École Polytechnique and École des Mines de Paris. Career Brégier began his career in 1983 as a test engineer at the Creys-Malville Superphénix nuclear plant. In 1984, he became sales manager for French aluminium conglomerate Pechiney in Japan. He joined the DRIRE (the French Ministry of Industry) in Alsace in 1986 before being appointed director of economic and financial affairs at the Ministry of Agriculture in 1989. The ''Corps des mines'' is the foremost technical Grand Corps of the French State (grands corps de l'Etat). It is composed of the state industrial engineers. The Corps is attached to the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. Its purpose is to entice French students in mathematics and physics to serve the government and train them for executive careers in France. Guillaume Faury (born 22 February 1968) is a French engineer and businessman. He is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the aerospace corporation Airbus SE as well as the Chairman of its civil aircraft division, Airbus SAS. Career Working at Eurocopter (now Airbus Helicopters) for ten years, Faury was the chief engineer of the EC225/H225, being responsible for the heavy helicopter flight tests. He eventually became the executive vice-president for research and development (R&D). In 2010, Faury became executive vice-president for research and development at car maker Peugeot.
