Fabian Zetterlund
Fabian Zetterlund (born August 25, 1999) is a Swedish professional ice hockey forward for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the third round, 63rd overall, of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career Zetterlund played his youth hockey within the program of Färjestad BK. He made his Swedish Hockey League debut with the club in the 2015–16 season. In the 2016–17 season, Zetterlund scored 16 goals and 26 points at the J20 Superelit level. In 14 SHL games, in which he averaged less than four minutes played per game, he did not have any points. Following the season, he was drafted 63rd overall, in the third round of the 2017 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. Zetterlund would earn a more permanent SHL spot in the 2017–18 season, posting 3 goals and 7 points in 35 games, as well as 5 points in 8 games loaned to Timrå IK of the second-tier Allsvenskan. 2018–19 SHL Season
The 2018–19 SHL season was the 44th season of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). The regular season began in September 2018 and ended in March 2019. It was followed by the Swedish Championship playoffs and the relegation playoffs. The league consisted of 14 teams. The only new addition for this season was Timrå IK, who replaced Karlskrona HK after defeating them in the 2018 SHL qualifiers. Färjestad BK won the regular season, and Frölunda HC won the Swedish Championship. World U-17 Hockey Challenge
The World U-17 Hockey Challenge, originally known as the Quebec Esso Cup, is an international ice hockey tournament held annually in Canada. Prior to 2011, the tournament did not operate during years in which the Canada Winter Games were held. As such, the World Under-17 Challenge was held three out of every four years. It is organized by Hockey Canada and is the first major international competition for male hockey players under the age of 17. The tournament is the first step in Hockey Canada's Program of Excellence and is used to identify players moving on to the U18 and National Junior Team. Timo Meier ( , born 8 October 1996) is a Swiss professional ice hockey player for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). After being selected ninth overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Meier became the third Swiss player in franchise history to be drafted by the team. Growing up in Herisau, Switzerland, Meier began playing ice hockey at a young age. At the age of 15, he accepted an apprenticeship position with the SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, a National A League team in Switzerland, where he observed and learned from David Aebischer and Jason Spezza. The Rochester Americans (colloquially known as the Amerks) are a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League; the team is an owned and operated affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. The team plays its home games in Rochester, New York, at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial. The Americans are the fourth oldest franchise in the AHL, and have the second longest continuous tenure among AHL teams in their current locations after the Hershey Bears. The 2022 Calder Cup playoffs was the postseason tournament of the American Hockey League (AHL) to determine the winner of the Calder Cup, which is awarded to the AHL playoff champions. 2022 marked the return of postseason play for the AHL after two seasons of no playoffs due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Arizona Coyotes are a professional ice hockey team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Utica Comets
The Utica Comets are a professional ice hockey team based in Utica, New York, with home games at the Adirondack Bank Center. They are members of the North Division in the Eastern Conference of the American Hockey League (AHL) and affiliated with the National Hockey League's (NHL) New Jersey Devils.
