F Minus
''F Minus'' is a horizontally oriented single panel comic strip by Tony Carrillo, started when he was a sophomore at Arizona State University. It ran daily in ''The State Press'', an independent newspaper at ASU, from 2002 until 2004, when Carrillo graduated. In an online mtvU strips contest with Scott Adams of ''Dilbert'' fame as member of the jury and with almost 200,000 people voting to find the best college comic strip, ''F Minus'' came in first place. Having won a development deal with United Features Syndicate through the contest, syndication of ''F Minus'' (in daily newspapers) began oApril 17, 2006in 75 newspapers throughout the United States. F-Minus was an American hardcore punk band formed in 1995 in Huntington Beach, California, United States, started by Jen Johnson and Brad Logan. F-Minus was known for their dueling male and female vocals in songs that were sometimes as short as 12 seconds ("Fuck You O.C."). Before breaking up in 2004, their last album was recorded by Steve Albini. Scott Raymond Adams (born June 8, 1957) is an American author and cartoonist. He is the creator of the syndicated ''Dilbert'' comic strip, and the author of several nonfiction works of satire, commentary, and business. Gag Cartoon Comics
A gag is usually an item or device designed to prevent speech, often as a restraint device to stop the subject from calling for help and keep its wearer silent. This is usually done by blocking the mouth, partially or completely, or attempting to prevent the tongue, lips, or jaw from moving in the normal patterns of speech. The more "effective" a gag appears to be, the more hazardous it is. For example duct tape is a fairly effective method of keeping a person's mouth shut but can be hazardous if the subject cannot breathe freely through the nose (for example if they have the common cold). ''Rhymes with Orange'' is an American comic strip written and drawn by Hilary B. Price and distributed by King Features Syndicate. The title comes from the commonly held belief that no word in the English language rhymes with "orange". It was first syndicated in June 1995. While the strip has no named recurring characters, common themes include cats, dogs, and absurdities of modern life. It appears in over 400 newspapers daily, and won the Silver Reuben for "Best Newspaper Panel Cartoon" from the National Cartoonists Society in 2007, 2009, 2012 and 2014.
