FON University
The American University of Europe - FON (AUE - FON) is a private university with headquarters in Skopje, North Macedonia. It is the second private university established in North Macedonia after the liberalization of the High education law's in 2002. After its establishment great number of professors from the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje transferred to the new university and contributed to building a better educational system in the Republic of Macedonia. AUE - FON University is an autonomous, private, non-profit, scientific, and higher education institution, established in the year of 2003 as a Faculty of Social Sciences. The founder of the first private university in the country is Mr. Fiat Canoski, MA. In 2007, with the introduction of new academic areas, the institution became the First Private University-FON. Biljana Puleska Janushevska
Biljana () is a settlement east of Dobrovo in the Municipality of Brda in the Littoral region of Slovenia, very close to the border with Italy. Name Biljana was first mentioned in written sources in 1205 as ''Beliana'' (and as ''Villana'' in 1233, ''Billgianis'' in 1270, and ''Bigliana'' in 1480). Skopje
Skopje ( , , ; mk, Скопје ; sq, Shkup) is the capital and largest city of North Macedonia. It is the country's political, cultural, economic, and academic centre. The territory of Skopje has been inhabited since at least 4000 BC; remains of Neolithic settlements have been found within the old Kale Fortress that overlooks the modern city centre. Struga
Struga ( mk, Струга , sq, Strugë) is a town and popular tourist destination situated in the south-western region of North Macedonia, lying on the shore of Lake Ohrid. The town of Struga is the seat of Struga Municipality. Name The name Struga was first mentioned in the 11th century. It is of Slavic origin. and means a "river bed". The ancient name of the city is Enchalon (Εγχαλών), the ancient Greek word for eel, which may be related to the Illyrian Enchele tribe that was known to live in the region. According to E. The Balkan Universities Network or Balkan Universities Association (BAUNAS) is an association of universities in Southeast Europe. In its present form the body was created after the breakup of the SFR Yugoslavia and the end of the Yugoslav Wars. Association facilitates the regional cooperation in the context of expansion of higher education sector caused by the establishment of new private and public universities (in addition to traditional schools with their existing institutional links). Association helped in the exchange of experiences in the implementation of the Bologna Process at Balkan universities.
