FNM Socimi Coaches
The Socimi coaches of the Ferrovie Nord Milano, also known as ''type hinterland'', are a class of railway coaches for commuter trains, built in the 1980s by Socimi. The coaches have been used together with E.620 locomotives or E.750 railcars. At this moment they are going to be scrapped, substituted by the double-deck railcars E.760 and E.710. Società Costruzioni Industriali Milano, better known as Socimi, was an Italian manufacturing company based in Milan. The E.750 is a class of electric railcars of the Italian railway company Ferrovie Nord Milano. Production The first series was built from 1982 to 1984, and was very similar to the ALe 724 of the Ferrovie dello Stato. The Treno Servizio Regionale (TSR) are a series of double-decker EMUs used by the Lombard railway company Trenord for the commuter services around Milan, and particularly for the suburban lines.
