FMW 3rd Anniversary Show: Fall Spectacular (1992) was a professional wrestling event produced by Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW). The event took place on September 19, 1992 at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan. This was the third edition of the company's flagship event Anniversary Show, commemorating the third anniversary of the company. In the main event, Tiger Jeet Singh defended the WWA World Martial Arts Heavyweight Championship against Atsushi Onita in a no rope explosion barbed wire deathmatch. Onita pinned Singh to win the title. The event also featured the first-ever interpromotional match of joshi wrestlers in Japan pitting FMW's Megumi Kudo and Combat Toyoda against AJW's Bull Nakano and Akira Hokuto in a losing effort. Megumi Kudo
is a Japanese entertainment personality and former professional wrestler. She wrestled under her maiden name for Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling, where she became the top star of the Women's Division. Kudo is primarily known for competing in brutal death matches, where the ring ropes were replaced with barbed wire. Professional wrestling career Kudo played basketball in high school. She joined All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling at the age of 16, but did not achieve any substantial success. Kudo was released in March 1988. Following her release, Kudo worked as a kindergarten teacher. Kudo returned to wrestling in March 1990 with Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling. Kudo participated in Japan's first mixed tag team match in October 1990, teaming with Ricky Fuji in a losing effort to Tarzan Goto and Despina Montagas. The FMW Women's Championship (or the FMW Independent Women's & WWA Women's Championship) was two Japanese women's professional wrestling championships (WWA World Women's Championship and FMW Independent World Women's Championship) contested in the promotion Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW). Tag Team
Tag team wrestling is a type of professional wrestling in which matches are contested between teams of multiple wrestlers. Tag teams may be made up of wrestlers who normally wrestle in singles competition, but more commonly are made of established teams who wrestle regularly as a unit and have a team name and identity. In most team matches, only one competitor per team is allowed in the ring at a time. This status as the active or legal wrestler may be transferred by physical contact, most commonly a palm-to-palm tag which resembles a high five. In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy" or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans, and acts as a protagonist to the heels, who are the villainous antagonist or "bad guy" characters. Traditionally, they wrestle within the rules and avoid cheating (in contrast to the villains who use illegal moves and call in additional wrestlers to do their work for them) while behaving positively towards the referee and the audience. Such characters are also referred to as blue-eyes in British wrestling and ''técnicos'' in ''lucha libre''. The face character is portrayed as a hero relative to the heel wrestlers, who are analogous to villains. Miwa Sato (wrestler)
Miwa Sato (里美和, born August 8, 1966) is a retired Japanese female professional wrestler, who spent her entire career in Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling. Professional wrestling career Trained by Tarzan Goto at the Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling Dojo, Miwa Sato debuted at the first FMW event on October 6, 1989, in a three on one handicap match teaming with the dojo mates Eriko Tsuchiya and Kumiko Matsuda. On May 19, 1990, she and Yuki Morimatsu lost a loser-of-the fall-loses-hair match to Megumi Kudo and Reibun Amada, where Morimatsu lost the fall, thus Sato's hair was safe. Eriko Tsuchiya (土屋 恵理子, born February 19, 1970) is a Japanese retired professional wrestler better known by the ring name Shark Tsuchiya (シャーク土屋). She spent most of her career working for Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling. Hardcore wrestling is a form of professional wrestling where disqualifications, count-outs, and all other different rules do not apply. Taking place in usual or unusual environments, hardcore wrestling matches allow the use of numerous items, including ladders, tables, chairs, thumbtacks, barbed wire, light tubes, shovels, baseball bats (sometimes wrapped in barbed wire), golf clubs, hammers, axe handles, chains, crowbars, wrenches, tongs, and other improvised weapons used as foreign objects. Ed Farhat
Edward George Farhat (June 7, 1926 – January 18, 2003) was an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name The Sheik (often called The Original Sheik to distinguish him from The Iron Sheik, who debuted in 1972). Farhat is credited as one of the originators of the hardcore wrestling style. He was also the promoter of Big Time Wrestling, and the uncle of ECW wrestler Sabu. is a Japanese retired professional wrestler better known as . Career Born Hisako Uno, Hokuto became a professional wrestler in the wake of the enormous popularity of tag team the Crush Gals (Chigusa Nagayo and Lioness Asuka), and was responsible for organizing the Bull Nakano fanclub.
